Final Sale Products
Nicotine products, vape products, opened items, and age-restricted goods are generally final sale once accepted by the customer, unless a refund is required by law or approved by ZipDash Delivery or the merchant.
For safety and compliance reasons, drivers cannot accept product returns at the door after a delivery is completed.
Cancellations
You may request cancellation before the merchant prepares the order or before a driver is dispatched. Once preparation or dispatch has started, cancellation may be unavailable or may exclude delivery-related charges.
ZipDash Delivery may cancel an order when products are unavailable, payment fails, the address is outside the service area, required verification is incomplete, or delivery cannot be completed lawfully.
Failed or Refused Delivery
Delivery may be refused if the recipient is unavailable, under 21, lacks acceptable government-issued photo identification, appears impaired, does not match verification records when required, or the handoff would violate policy or law.
If delivery is refused for age, identity, safety, customer absence, or inaccurate address information, product charges may be refunded at ZipDash Delivery's discretion, but delivery, service, restocking, or processing fees may be nonrefundable where permitted by law.
Unavailable or Incorrect Items
If an item is out of stock before delivery, ZipDash Delivery or the merchant may offer an approved substitution, adjust the order, or refund the unavailable item.
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, contact support promptly with your order number, account email, photos if applicable, and a description of the issue. Approved remedies may include a refund, credit, replacement, or corrected delivery where available.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are submitted to the payment processor after review. Your bank or card issuer controls when funds appear on your statement, and timing can vary.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method when available. ZipDash Delivery does not guarantee cash refunds for card payments.
Billing Questions and Chargebacks
If you do not recognize a charge, contact support before filing a chargeback so ZipDash Delivery can review the order record, payment status, merchant notes, delivery proof, and any refund activity.
Chargeback disputes may delay support review and may require ZipDash Delivery to provide account, order, delivery, age-verification, support, and refund records to the payment processor or card network.
